About this product
A sensor module built around the MAX30100 integrated pulse oximeter and heart-rate sensor, which combines red and infrared LEDs, a photodetector and a low-noise analog front-end. It measures heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) from light absorbed through a fingertip, for wearable and hobby projects. It communicates with a microcontroller over I2C and runs from 1.8V to 5.5V.

Frequently asked questions
What is the price of MAX30100 Pulse Oximeter and Heart Rate Sensor Module in Egypt?
MAX30100 Pulse Oximeter and Heart Rate Sensor Module currently costs between 95 and 250 EGP across 3 offers in Egypt.
Where can I buy MAX30100 Pulse Oximeter and Heart Rate Sensor Module in Egypt?
MAX30100 Pulse Oximeter and Heart Rate Sensor Module is available from Microohm, UGE, and RAM Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
Can I power it from a 3.3V board such as an ESP32?
Yes. The MAX30100 works from 1.8V to 5.5V, so a 3.3V supply is within its operating range. Connect VIN to 3.3V, GND to GND, SDA and SCL to the I2C pins of the board.
Does it need pull-up resistors on the I2C lines?
Check whether your breakout already includes pull-ups on SDA and SCL. If it does not, add 4.7 kOhm pull-up resistors from SDA and SCL to the supply voltage.
