Frequently asked questions
Is the DFRobot MAX30102 module compatible with Arduino and ESP32?
Yes. Connect VCC, GND, SDA and SCL, and use an I2C library compatible with the MAX30102. For ESP32 check the board's voltage rating and use 3.3 V logic levels where required.
How should I place my finger for a stable reading?
Rest your fingertip gently on the sensor window, keep it still and avoid pressing too hard. Movement and ambient light are the main causes of unstable readings.
