About this product
A miniature AC current transformer with a 20 A primary and a 10 mA secondary output. It measures alternating current while isolating the measurement circuit from the high-current conductor. The 7 mm hollow aperture takes the conductor, and four terminal pins connect to the measuring or monitoring circuit.

Frequently asked questions
What happens if the secondary is left open?
Never leave the secondary open while current flows through the primary, because high voltage can develop across the open terminals. A burden resistor must be connected to the secondary during operation.
Can it measure DC current?
No. It is an AC current transformer and relies on a changing magnetic field, so it cannot measure direct current.
