About this product
The AT24C256 is a 256 Kbit (32 KB) serial EEPROM with an I2C interface, organized as 32K × 8. It keeps stored data when power is removed, making it suitable for saving settings, calibration values and logs. It also adds non-volatile storage to microcontrollers with limited built-in EEPROM, such as Arduino boards.

Frequently asked questions
What is the price of AT24C256 256Kbit I2C EEPROM Memory IC SOIC-8 in Egypt?
AT24C256 256Kbit I2C EEPROM Memory IC SOIC-8 currently costs 35 EGP in Egypt.
Where can I buy AT24C256 256Kbit I2C EEPROM Memory IC SOIC-8 in Egypt?
AT24C256 256Kbit I2C EEPROM Memory IC SOIC-8 is available from UGE. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
How do I connect the AT24C256 to an Arduino?
Connect VCC and GND, then SDA to SDA and SCL to SCL. On an Arduino Uno these are A4 (SDA) and A5 (SCL), and you can use the Wire library. Add pull-up resistors on SDA and SCL if your module does not already include them, commonly around 4.7 kΩ.
How do I select the address when using several EEPROMs on one bus?
The A0, A1 and A2 pins set the lower three bits of the I2C address. Tie each to GND or VCC so that every chip on the bus has a unique address in the range 0x50 to 0x57, as described in the datasheet.
