About this product
Analog vibration sensor module that buffers a piezoelectric ceramic disk. The disk generates a voltage change proportional to the strength of the vibration or pressure applied, and the module outputs it on an analog pin. Useful for knock detection, vibration monitoring and simple shock-sensing projects.

Frequently asked questions
How do I read the sensor value?
Connect the output to an analog input on a board such as Arduino. The listing sample uses analogRead on analog pin 0 with Serial at 9600 baud, and the value changes with vibration.
Does it need a separate power supply?
The listing states the module does not need a separate power supply and draws less than 1 mA. Confirm the pin labels on your module before wiring it to a board.
