About this product
An analog water detection module with exposed parallel traces and a 1 MΩ pull-up resistor, used to detect water leaks, water level or rain. A few drops of water short the traces to the grounded trace, changing the analog output voltage, which can be read directly by an Arduino analog input. Its detection area is 40 mm × 16 mm.

Frequently asked questions
What is the price of Water Level Detection Sensor Module (Analog, 5V) in Egypt?
Water Level Detection Sensor Module (Analog, 5V) currently costs between 16 and 55 EGP across 5 offers in Egypt.
Where can I buy Water Level Detection Sensor Module (Analog, 5V) in Egypt?
Water Level Detection Sensor Module (Analog, 5V) is available from Makers Electronics, Microohm, RAM Electronics, Future Electronics, and UGE. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
How do I connect this module to an Arduino?
Connect the module's VCC to 5V, GND to GND, and the analog output to an analog input such as A0. Read the value with analogRead() and compare it to a threshold you set from dry and wet readings.
Why does the reading change when the sensor is wet?
Water bridges the exposed traces and shorts them toward the grounded trace, which changes the voltage on the analog output. More water covering the traces causes a larger change. Keep the traces clean and dry when not in use.
