How do I upload code to the ESP32-CAM when it has no USB port?
Use a 3.3 V USB-to-serial adapter. Connect the adapter TX to U0R and the adapter RX to U0T, connect GPIO0 to GND to enter flashing mode, press reset, upload the code, then remove the GPIO0-to-GND link and reset the board.
What power supply does it need?
Use a stable 5 V supply with enough current. Camera capture and Wi-Fi transmission cause current peaks, and a weak supply or a USB-serial adapter can cause the board to reset.
