About this product
This miniature 4-pin tactile pushbutton measures 6 x 6 mm with an 8 mm long actuator head and gives a clear click. It fits breadboards and is commonly used as a reset or input button in microcontroller projects. It is rated up to 50 mA, so it suits logic-level signals rather than switching loads.

Frequently asked questions
How do I wire a 4-pin tactile switch?
The two pins on each side are internally connected, so you only need one pin from each side. Connect one side to the microcontroller input and the other to GND, with a pull-up or pull-down resistor, or use the internal pull-up of the MCU.
Can it switch a motor or a relay directly?
No. The rating is 50 mA, so use it only for signal-level inputs. Drive loads through a transistor, MOSFET or relay driven by the microcontroller.
