About this product
A learning kit with three Arduino boards and three 433 MHz HC-12 wireless serial modules. Sensor units measure temperature, humidity and light and send their readings wirelessly to a station that shows each unit by name and the time of its last message. Each unit sends its ID (N1 or N2) every 5 seconds at staggered times to avoid collisions. The expansion version does not include the boards or USB cable.

Frequently asked questions
Why do the units use different send times?
Several transmitters on the same radio channel can send at the same moment and corrupt each other's messages. The kit staggers the send times and uses node IDs so the station can tell the units apart.
How are the HC-12 modules connected to the Arduino?
The HC-12 is a serial (UART) module, so it connects to the Arduino's serial TX and RX pins. Check the module's pin labels and the kit's wiring guide before powering the circuit.
