About this product

The P6KE13A-E3/73 is a 600 W uni-directional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode in a DO-15 (DO-204AC) axial package. It clamps voltage spikes on DC rails and signal lines to protect circuits from surges. It is connected in parallel with the line, with the banded cathode on the positive side.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of Vishay P6KE13A-E3/73 600W 13V Uni-directional TVS Diode DO-15 in Egypt?

Vishay P6KE13A-E3/73 600W 13V Uni-directional TVS Diode DO-15 currently costs 2 EGP in Egypt.

Where can I buy Vishay P6KE13A-E3/73 600W 13V Uni-directional TVS Diode DO-15 in Egypt?

Vishay P6KE13A-E3/73 600W 13V Uni-directional TVS Diode DO-15 is available from Makers Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.

Which way round should the TVS diode be connected?

The band marks the cathode. Connect the banded end to the positive rail or signal line and the other end to ground. In normal operation the diode is reverse-biased and does not conduct.

Is it suitable for a 5V or 12V line?

It suits circuits whose normal working voltage stays below the reverse stand-off voltage of 11.1V, so 5V lines are within range. A 12V line would exceed this rating and is not a suitable use for this part. The 18.2V clamping voltage is the level the protected line reaches during a surge.
