Frequently asked questions
How do I wire it to an Arduino or ESP board?
Connect the adapter TX to the target board RX, the adapter RX to the target TX, and GND to GND. Connect VCC only if you want the adapter to power the target, and make sure the voltage matches the target's logic level.
Does it need a driver?
Windows may need the CH340 driver installed before the COM port appears. macOS and Linux usually recognise the chip without extra setup.
