A USB to 8-bit parallel FIFO module built around the FTDI FT245BL chip. It moves data between a microcontroller or peripheral and a PC at up to 8 Mbit/s (1 MB/s). The FIFO-like interface lets a microcontroller write and read bytes through its I/O pins, using control signals such as TXE#.
