Frequently asked questions
How do I wire the USB Blaster to my FPGA board?
Connect the 10-pin JTAG header of the cable to the JTAG header on your board, matching pin 1 markings. Confirm the JTAG voltage on the target board, as some boards use 3.3 V and others use different levels.
Does it work with FPGAs from other vendors?
It is designed for Altera (Intel) devices and the Quartus software. Other vendors use their own programming cables and tools.
