About this product
A CMOS quad single-pole single-throw (SPST) analog switch IC with four independent switches. It offers low on-resistance (45Ω typical), a maximum switching time of 200 ns and TTL/CMOS-compatible control inputs, suiting signal routing, sample-and-hold and sensor multiplexing circuits.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use it with a 3.3V or 5V microcontroller?
Yes for the control inputs, which are TTL/CMOS compatible. The analog supply must still fall within the listed range, +4.5V to +20V or ±4.5V to ±20V, so a 3.3V-only supply is below the minimum and will not work for the switch rail.
What limits its use in precision signal paths?
The 45Ω typical on-resistance can distort signals driving low-impedance loads, and the 5 pC charge injection can affect sample-and-hold circuits. Consider these figures when designing accurate measurement paths.
