About this product
A non-contact laser tachometer for measuring the rotational speed of shafts and discs, shown as RPM or counts. It reads reflective tape on the rotating object, so it does not touch the machine. Useful for checking motors, fans, pumps, and mechanical drives, with MAX/MIN/AVG modes and data hold for recording readings.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to attach anything to the rotating part?
Yes, stick reflective tape on the shaft or disc being measured. The laser beam reflects off the tape each revolution, and the meter counts those reflections to calculate speed.
Can I use it on a motor without touching the shaft?
Yes, that is its purpose. Point the laser at the reflective mark from a safe distance, keep clear of moving parts, and avoid pointing the beam at eyes.
