Does the module need a heatsink?
Yes. The hot side must be dissipated with a heatsink and fan, otherwise the module overheats and its cooling performance drops sharply.
What power supply should I use?
Use a regulated 12 V DC supply that can deliver the current needed, and never exceed the listed maximum voltage of 15 V or maximum current of 5.2 A. A PWM or thermostat controller is recommended for temperature control.
