How do I wire this button to an Arduino?
Pins on the same side are internally connected, and pressing the button joins the two sides. Connect one pin to a digital input and the diagonally opposite pin to GND, then read the input with INPUT_PULLUP.
Do I need an external pull-up or pull-down resistor?
If you use INPUT_PULLUP on Arduino, no external resistor is needed. Otherwise, add a pull-up or pull-down resistor so the input has a defined level when the button is not pressed.
