About this product
A 220 VAC to 24 VAC step-down transformer rated at 5 A, which corresponds to about 120 VA output. It is used to supply 24 VAC loads such as control circuits, relays and signalling equipment. It works from mains voltage, so it must be installed in an insulated enclosure with proper fusing.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use this transformer to power a 24 V DC device?
Not directly, because the output is AC. For DC you need a bridge rectifier and a filter capacitor, plus a regulator if the device needs a fixed voltage. Unloaded, the rectified peak is about 34 V (1.4 x 24 V).
Is it safe to use without an enclosure?
No. The primary side is connected to 220 V mains. Mount it in an insulated enclosure, fuse the input side and fully insulate all connections. Disconnect the mains before wiring, and preferably have a qualified person do the installation.
