About this product
A complete solar light tracker kit with an Arduino Uno R3 compatible board and USB cable. Two light sensors on opposite edges of the small solar panel detect the brighter side, and a servo motor turns the panel toward the light. The Arduino measures the panel output voltage through a voltage divider built from two 10 kΩ resistors. The kit measures voltage only and does not charge a battery.

Frequently asked questions
Can this kit charge a battery?
No. It only measures the solar panel's output voltage and has no charge controller, so it cannot charge a battery.
Why is a voltage divider used?
Two equal 10 kΩ resistors halve the panel voltage so the Arduino's analog input stays within its 5 V limit. The panel voltage should therefore stay below about 10 V.
