Frequently asked questions
How do I connect it to an Arduino?
Wire the sensor's power (5 to 24 V), GND, and the A and B RS485 lines to an RS485 transceiver such as a MAX485 module, connected to the Arduino's serial pins. Then read the Modbus registers from your code. Register addresses are defined in the vendor's manual.
Is the sensor affected by soil salinity?
According to the store description, the sensor is less affected by soil salinity and is suitable for various soil types. It can remain buried in soil for a long time.
