Surface-mount chip capacitor in the 1206 package with a value of 1 pF. Used where a very small fixed capacitance is needed in RF or high-frequency PCB designs. The larger body is easier to hand solder than 0402 parts.

Can I use this capacitor on a breadboard?
Not directly. Surface-mount parts need a PCB or a breakout adapter. Breadboard circuits at this low value are also very sensitive to stray capacitance from wires and the board itself.
Is the 1206 package easier to hand solder than 0402?
Yes. The 1206 body and pads are larger, so it is easier to position and solder with a standard fine-tip iron.
