Can I use this capacitor on a breadboard?
Not directly. The 0402 chip has very small pads, so it must be soldered to a PCB or to a breakout adapter before it can be used on a breadboard.
How do I solder a 0402 chip capacitor?
Use fine-tip tweezers, a fine-tip iron with thin solder, or solder paste with hot air. Tin one pad first, place the part, then solder the second pad while keeping the chip aligned.
