Which software do I need to program the robot?
The Arduino Uno is programmed over USB using the Arduino IDE. The HC-05 module can then be paired with a phone for Bluetooth control.
Should the HC-05 RX pin be connected directly to the Arduino's 5V TX pin?
It is commonly recommended to add a voltage divider between the Arduino TX pin and the HC-05 RX pin, because the HC-05 RX input is designed for 3.3V logic.
