About this product
A fully sealed single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relay with five PCB-mount pins and a 6 V DC coil. Its contacts are rated up to 7 A at 250 VAC or 30 VDC, making it suitable for switching high-voltage or high-current devices from a low-voltage control circuit. It is a common choice for relay modules and hobby switching projects.

Frequently asked questions
Can an Arduino pin drive this relay directly?
No. The coil needs a 6 V DC supply and a microcontroller pin cannot supply the coil current. Drive the coil through an NPN transistor or MOSFET from a separate 6 V supply, and fit a flyback diode across the coil.
What does the minimum switching voltage of 5.5 V mean?
The relay is specified to switch reliably only when its coil receives at least 5.5 V. Use a 6 V DC supply for the coil and avoid running it at lower voltages, as the contacts may not switch correctly.
