Frequently asked questions
Can I drive the 12V coil directly from a microcontroller pin?
Not reliably. The coil current is usually higher than a microcontroller pin can supply, so use a transistor or relay driver module. Also place a flyback diode across the coil.
Is this the same relay as the 24V version?
No. Both use the same 8-pin HLS-13F-2 type and 10A rating, but this version has a 12Vdc coil while the other has a 24Vdc coil. Choose the coil voltage that matches your control supply.
