How do I shrink the tubing?
Slide the tube over the pack, then heat it evenly with a heat gun, moving the gun continuously until the tube fits snugly.
Is this tubing enough to protect a lithium battery pack?
It provides outer insulation only. Lithium packs still need a proper BMS for overcharge, over-discharge and short-circuit protection.
