About this product
A PT100 platinum resistance temperature detector (RTD) with an M6 screw thread for fixing it into a pipe, tank or machine part. It measures from -50°C to +500°C by changing its resistance with temperature, which a PT100 transmitter, amplifier or controller converts into a temperature reading. Suited to industrial, process and lab temperature monitoring.

Frequently asked questions
What is the price of PT100 RTD Screw-Type Temperature Sensor M6, -50°C to +500°C in Egypt?
PT100 RTD Screw-Type Temperature Sensor M6, -50°C to +500°C currently costs 420 EGP in Egypt.
Where can I buy PT100 RTD Screw-Type Temperature Sensor M6, -50°C to +500°C in Egypt?
PT100 RTD Screw-Type Temperature Sensor M6, -50°C to +500°C is available from Circuits Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
Is this a thermocouple?
No. The PT100 is a resistance temperature detector (RTD), not a thermocouple. It needs a PT100-compatible reader, transmitter or controller input, and it cannot be connected directly to a thermocouple input.
How should I wire it?
PT100 sensors come with 2, 3 or 4 leads. Connect them to a PT100 input module or transmitter, such as a MAX31865-based board. A 3-wire or 4-wire connection reduces the error caused by lead resistance, so check the number of leads on your sensor before wiring.
