About this product
A 580-piece assortment of flat polyolefin heat shrink tubing in multiple colors, used to insulate and protect solder joints, wire connections and cable ends. Frequently asked questions
How do I shrink the tubing properly?
Use a heat gun or hot air tool and heat the tubing evenly. Full shrinkage is listed at 120 °C or higher, and the tubing starts shrinking at 84 °C or higher.
Which tube size should I pick for a wire or solder joint?
Because the ratio is 2:1, choose a tube whose unshrunk inner diameter is about twice the diameter of the wire or joint, so it shrinks snugly around it.
