Can I use these in devices that take alkaline AA batteries?
Yes, in most devices. A NiMH cell has a nominal voltage of 1.2 V compared with 1.5 V for alkaline cells, so runtime can be shorter and some low-battery indicators may react sooner. Recharge them only with a charger designed for NiMH cells.
Do they need a special charger?
