Frequently asked questions
How do I connect it to an Arduino?
Do not connect the 90-250 V AC supply or the load to the Arduino. Use the relay contact to switch a separate circuit, or place an isolating relay or optocoupler module between the output and the Arduino input.
Does it need a reflector?
Yes. In retro-reflective mode the sensor needs a reflector aligned opposite it. An object is detected when it breaks the beam between the sensor and the reflector.
