About this product
USB-to-CAN adapter compatible with the CANable V1 design, with a 16-pin OBD-II connector for direct vehicle access. It uses an STM32F072CBT Cortex-M0 microcontroller and a SIT1051 CAN transceiver, and comes with Candlelight firmware for tools such as Cangaroo and SavvyCAN. Firmware can be updated through web-based DFU, and a jumper enables a 120 Ω termination resistor.

Frequently asked questions
Which software works with this adapter?
The listing names Cangaroo and SavvyCAN, and states that it supports multiple CAN baud rates that can be configured for different CAN speeds.
When should I enable the 120 Ω termination jumper?
Enable the jumper when the adapter sits at one end of the CAN bus. A CAN bus is normally terminated with 120 Ω at both ends, so leave the jumper off when another termination already exists on the network.
