About this product

A breakout adapter that lets an NRF24L01 or NRF24L01+ 2.4 GHz transceiver run from a 5V supply such as an Arduino. An onboard regulator steps the 5V input down to 3.3V for the radio, and bypass capacitors help keep it stable. The NRF24L01 uses Enhanced ShockBurst packets with acknowledgment and automatic retransmission, used in wireless sensors and remote controls.

How do I wire the NRF24L01 to an Arduino Uno?

Connect the adapter VCC to 5V and GND to GND. For SPI, connect CE to D9, CSN to D10, MOSI to D11, MISO to D12, and SCK to D13. The IRQ pin is optional. Check whether the adapter includes logic level shifting; if not, use a level shifter on the 5V signal lines.

Can the module be powered directly from a 3.3V pin?

Yes, if your board's 3.3V supply can provide the current the radio needs during transmission. Use this adapter when your main supply is 5V, since it provides the regulated 3.3V for the module. Keep the module's supply stable with the bypass capacitors and a short wiring run.
