A 10-metre roll of pure nickel strip, 10mm wide and 0.12mm thick, made from 99.96% pure nickel. It is used to interconnect battery cells such as 18650 by spot welding during battery pack assembly. The wider width suits larger connections than the 7mm version.

Can I solder this strip directly to a cell with a normal iron?
Nickel is difficult to solder with a standard iron, and direct soldering to a cell adds heat that can damage it. Spot welding is the usual method for connecting nickel strip to cells.
Which spot welder should I use with this strip?
Use a spot welder designed for battery work and check that its tips and pulse settings suit 0.12mm nickel strip. Always test on scrap strip and cells before welding a finished pack.
