About this product
N20 is a micro DC gear motor with a metal gearbox, rated at 6 V with about 1000 RPM output and an operating range of 3 V to 6 V. It offers high torque at low speed and good stall characteristics, and its output shaft accepts wheels directly, which makes it popular for small robot chassis and hobby projects.

Frequently asked questions
Can I power it from a 9V or 12V battery?
No. The operating range is 3 V to 6 V, so exceeding 6 V can overheat or damage the motor. Use a regulator or a motor driver with a 6 V limit, or a battery pack sized for this range.
Can I connect it directly to a microcontroller pin?
Not directly. A microcontroller pin cannot supply the motor's current, and stalling draws much more. Drive it through a motor driver module such as a DRV8833 or TB6612FNG, which provides the current and PWM speed control.
