About this product
An expansion pack for sending and receiving Morse code with light. Type a message in the Arduino Serial Monitor and the board flashes it as dots and dashes using a white 5 mm LED. A light sensor picks up the flashes from another kit or a torch and decodes them back into letters. An Arduino Uno is required and is not included. Suited to learning Morse code and pulse-length measurement.

Frequently asked questions
How is a message sent?
Type the text into the Serial Monitor of the Arduino IDE. The board converts each letter to dots and dashes and flashes the white LED accordingly.
Can the light sensor receive from a torch?
Yes. The listing states that the light sensor can receive light from another kit or a flashlight, although the decoding works best with steady, well-timed flashes.
