Which filament size does this extruder work with?
The kit is set up for 1.75 mm filament, as listed. Use 1.75 mm filament only, since a different diameter will not feed correctly through the extruder.
How is the NEMA 17 motor wired?
It is a 4-wire bipolar stepper motor. Connect its wires to the A+, A-, B+ and B- outputs of the stepper driver on your control board. If you are unsure which pairs form the coils, measure resistance between wires with a multimeter; each coil shows a low, matching reading.
