About this product
A parking-assist style kit built on an Arduino Uno and an ultrasonic distance sensor. A green LED lights when an object is more than 50 cm away, yellow between 20 and 50 cm, and red below 20 cm. A passive buzzer beeps faster as the distance decreases and gives a continuous tone under 5 cm.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the buzzer need the tone() function?
A passive buzzer has no internal oscillator, so it needs a frequency signal from the Arduino. The tone() function generates that signal. An active buzzer would only need a HIGH or LOW level.
Can I change the distance zones?
Yes. The distance limits of 20, 50 and 5 cm are set as values in the code, so you can edit them to match your own range and test the LEDs again.
