About this product
Add-on kit for a mini parking gate. An IR obstacle sensor with a 2 to 30 cm range detects an approaching toy car, the SG90 servo raises the gate arm, and a green LED lights up. The gate waits until the car has passed before closing, which teaches basic safety logic. The Arduino board is not included.

Frequently asked questions
Which pins does the IR sensor connect to?
The module has VCC, GND and an output pin. Connect VCC to 5 V, GND to GND, and the output to a digital input on the Arduino. The sketch reads this output to detect the car.
Can the SG90 servo be powered from the Arduino directly?
The SG90 typically operates at 4.8 V to 6 V. For light, short movements the 5 V pin of an Arduino Uno is commonly used. For heavier loads an external power supply is safer. The signal wire goes to a PWM-capable pin.
