About this product
A mini electronic piano with eight push buttons, each playing one note of the C major scale from C4 to C5. Each button is wired to an Arduino pin, and the sound is produced on a passive buzzer with the tone() function. Kids can play simple tunes and change the notes in the code. Built on a breadboard with jumper wires, with no soldering needed.

Frequently asked questions
Does the buzzer have to be passive?
Yes. The tone() function sets the frequency of the sound, which requires a passive buzzer; an active buzzer plays one fixed tone.
Do the buttons need external resistors?
No. The code uses INPUT_PULLUP on each button pin, which enables the Arduino's internal pull-up resistor.
