Frequently asked questions
Can I connect this motor directly to an Arduino or ESP32 pin?
No. A microcontroller pin cannot supply the current the motor needs, and the motor is rated for 3 V to 3.7 V. Drive it through a transistor, a MOSFET or a motor driver, powered from a suitable 3 V to 3.7 V source such as a single Li-ion cell.
How do I reverse the rotation direction?
For a brushed DC motor, reversing the supply polarity reverses the direction of rotation. If the microcontroller must control direction, use an H-bridge driver.
