Frequently asked questions
How do I wire the SD module to an ESP32 or STM32?
Connect VCC to 3.3 V and GND to ground, then connect the SPI lines (MOSI, MISO, SCK) and a chip-select pin from the module to the matching pins on your microcontroller. Use the pin mapping in your library.
Can I connect it to a 5 V Arduino board?
The module is rated for 3.3 V working voltage and 3.3 V interface levels. With a 5 V board, use a level shifter on the signal lines and power the module from 3.3 V.
