Frequently asked questions
How do I wire it?
The module has three pins: signal, VCC and GND. Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V within the 2.7 to 5.5V range, GND to GND, and the signal pin to a digital input. Check the pin labels on the board before wiring.
Which remotes work with it?
It is designed for 38kHz carrier IR signals, the same carrier used by many common infrared remotes and the KY-005 transmitter.
