About this product
The IRF9630 is a P-channel power MOSFET in a TO-220 package, rated for -200V drain-source voltage and -6.5A continuous drain current, with 0.8Ω on-resistance. It is used for power switching, especially high-side switching where the source connects to the positive supply. Use a heatsink when switching higher currents.

Frequently asked questions
What is the price of IRF9630 P-Channel Power MOSFET -200V -6.5A 0.8Ω TO-220 in Egypt?
IRF9630 P-Channel Power MOSFET -200V -6.5A 0.8Ω TO-220 currently costs 25 EGP in Egypt.
Where can I buy IRF9630 P-Channel Power MOSFET -200V -6.5A 0.8Ω TO-220 in Egypt?
IRF9630 P-Channel Power MOSFET -200V -6.5A 0.8Ω TO-220 is available from Makers Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
Can a 3.3V or 5V microcontroller pin switch the IRF9630 directly?
Usually not fully. As a P-channel device it must be pulled toward ground, relative to its source, to turn on, and it needs a gate swing of about 10V for full enhancement. A microcontroller pin often cannot drive it fully on, so use a gate driver or a level-shifting transistor.
Does the IRF9630 need a heatsink?
It depends on the current. Heat generated in conduction is roughly I² × Rds(on), so at higher currents the device warms up significantly. The metal tab of the TO-220 package is the drain, so a heatsink must be insulated or isolated from other parts.
