About this product

The IRF3205 is a high-current N-channel power MOSFET in a TO-220 package, rated for 55 V and up to 110 A continuous drain current at 10 V gate drive. Its very low on-resistance of about 8 mΩ makes it popular for motor drivers, power switching and high-current circuits in hobby projects.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of IRF3205 N-Channel Power MOSFET 55V 110A TO-220 in Egypt?

IRF3205 N-Channel Power MOSFET 55V 110A TO-220 currently costs between 15 and 33 EGP across 6 offers in Egypt.

Where can I buy IRF3205 N-Channel Power MOSFET 55V 110A TO-220 in Egypt?

IRF3205 N-Channel Power MOSFET 55V 110A TO-220 is available from Makers Electronics, Microohm, Most Electronics, Future Electronics, RAM Electronics, and Circuits Electronics. Compare the offers above to find the best price.

Can I control the IRF3205 directly from an Arduino?

Only with care. Its low 8 mΩ rating needs about 10 V on the gate. A 5 V Arduino pin turns it on only partly, so it will overheat under load. Use a logic-level MOSFET or a gate driver for 5 V control.

How do I wire it to switch a DC motor?

Connect the motor between the positive supply and the drain, the source to ground (shared with the controller), and the gate to the controller through a series resistor. Place a flyback diode across the motor terminals.
