Frequently asked questions
Can I drive this relay directly from an Arduino pin?
No. The 24 V coil needs more current and voltage than a microcontroller pin can supply. Drive it through a transistor or MOSFET stage powered from 24 V, and place a flyback diode across the coil.
Can it switch mains AC loads?
The listing gives only the 16 A contact current rating. Check the contact voltage rating in the datasheet before switching mains AC, and never work on mains wiring while powered.
