Frequently asked questions
Can a 5V microcontroller pin drive this relay directly?
No. A 24 V coil needs its own supply, and a microcontroller pin cannot energize it directly. Use a transistor driver stage with a flyback diode across the coil.
Can it switch mains voltage?
Not at 220 V mains. The contact rating is 1 A at 125 V AC, which is below mains voltage. Use a relay specifically rated for mains loads.
