About this product
The HC-SR505 is a compact passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor module that detects changes in body heat within a range of up to about 10 feet (3 m). It has a very low standby current of 70 µA and a digital output, making it suitable for simple motion-triggered projects such as lighting, alarms and presence detection. It operates from 4.5 to 20 V and is 5 V compatible.

Frequently asked questions
What is the price of HC-SR505 Mini PIR Motion Sensor Module in Egypt?
HC-SR505 Mini PIR Motion Sensor Module currently costs between 60 and 70 EGP across 3 offers in Egypt.
Where can I buy HC-SR505 Mini PIR Motion Sensor Module in Egypt?
HC-SR505 Mini PIR Motion Sensor Module is available from Makers Electronics, Future Electronics, and Microohm. Compare the offers above to find the best price.
How do I wire the HC-SR505?
Connect VCC to 5 V, GND to ground and OUT to a digital input pin. OUT goes HIGH when motion is detected. Allow a short warm-up period after power-up, typically tens of seconds, before relying on its readings.
Will it work through glass or in cold areas?
PIR sensors respond to changes in infrared from warm moving objects, so they work best indoors with a clear line of sight. Glass blocks the infrared that the sensor detects, and a warm body crossing its field of view gives the strongest response.
