Is this fuse suitable for low-current electronics?
Not usually. A 12A fuse will not open quickly on small currents, so it gives little protection to low-power circuits. Pick a fuse rating close to the load's actual current.
How do I wire it?
Connect it in series on the live or positive line between the source and the load, inside a 6x30 mm holder. Do not bypass it with a wire or place it on the neutral or ground path.
