About this product
The FT232RL is FTDI's USB 2.0 to UART bridge IC in a 28-pin SSOP package. It integrates the EEPROM, clock circuit and USB resistors, and adds a clock output and asynchronous and synchronous bit-bang modes, making it widely used to add USB serial programming or debugging to boards.
