Which cars is it compatible with?
It works with vehicles that use the standard 16-pin OBD-II port. Most petrol cars from the late 1990s onward and all US cars from 1996 use this port.
Does clearing the codes fix the fault?
Clearing codes only removes the stored entries. If the underlying problem is still present, the code and warning light will return, so diagnose the cause first.
